John E. Cosmi, MD, FACC, attended New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ, and received his medical degree in 1998. Then, he served his internal medicine residency at New York University Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital (1998-2001). Furthermore, he conducted his cardiovascular medicine disease fellowship (2001-2002) and interventional cardiology fellowship (2002-2005) at New York University. Dr. Cosmi served as Chief Medical Resident in 2001 as well as Cardiology fellow of the Year in 2001 and 2002. In addition, he received board certification in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and interventional cardiology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Cosmi is an inductee of Alpha Omega Alpha (1997) and Phi Beta Kappa (1993).
